The literary debut of a TV screenplay writer, Eva Papoušková, poetically demonstrates that regarding the question of the education of preschoolers, believers of “noble savagery” such as Voltaire and Rousseau may be right. The success behind the story is thanks to the author’s ability to distinctly capture the mentality of young children with a disciplined eloquence, which is a rarity in today’s era of computerized writing. While the parent may give a nod at the credibility and is astonished by how inventive the piece is, the reader is genuinely entertained.
