The narration covers the story of a little hippo Rino, who lives at the ZOO and is often sad. One day the children on their school trip drop a book into his fenced area. Though the teacher is worried about the book, Rino does not eat it. Instead of it, he reads it. An excellent educational moment in the small space: the hippo finds out, that he is in the outland and that his original home is Africa. Since this moment, he focuses with all his efforts on returning back to his roots. The story is humorous, entertaining, and adventurous with comprehensible metaphorical elements. The core of the text is to find a shelter that only home can offer. Home is the goal of the little hero's journey. The latent parallel between hippo and a little child is created since the moment, when the hippo's smallness is emphasised (in comparison with the big ZOO). The book was awarded The Most Beautiful Children's Book and The Best Children's Book of the Winter 2013.
