A last night together, the highlight and conclusion of the school career, the graduation party in the sports hall. In the middle of it all are Suse, Pavlow, Bo, Maja and Tolga, five long-time friends who couldn't be more different. They have goals, dreams and ideas. One more night together and then the world will be open to them. But the night turns out differently than expected: Secrets come to light, truths are spoken, relationships are dissolved.
Sarah Jäger takes the reader directly into her fragile ensemble of characters through alternating narrative perspectives. She portrays the young protagonists as strong personalities who are at a turning point in their lives. Jäger unfolds a great arc of suspense with unpredictable developments. Once again, the author proves herself to be a precise observer to whom the young adults are very close. This title was nominated for the 2022 German Children՚s Literature Award.
