A funny and easy-to-read story with a profound message between the lines. It is written in the form of a letter written to a friend by a teacher who has moved to Africa to teach some elephants, who personify the character and thinking of young people and are classified according to their heart: tiger heart (authorities), monkey heart (restless), ant heart (workers), rat heart (wise) and bird heart (marginalised, not integrated, those who seem to be in another world, who communicate in a different way...). A story created by Mariasun Landa in 2001, it has been her most translated book. It is the re-edition of the Spanish version of ‘Elefante corazón de pájaro’ published by Anaya (2004) with illustrations by Emilio Urberuaga.
