The 14 year old Hovanes lives together wieht Eiles, Tiko, Gaya and Sirup in a youth institute with familiar atmosphere managed by two catholic sisters. The first-person narrator tells us his point of view on his daily life and step by step we notice that all these kids are different handicapped. This inside view is contrasted by the external view from Ana, a journalist who wants to write an article about this home.
Excitement is created through different time levels of Hovanes' narration: the events before and after Sirup's accident. This creates indivirual spaces for reflection and hypotheses of what is untold.
